Prior to joining the firm in September 2012, Alex Miller served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Katherine R. Dupuis, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey in the Union County Chancery Division, Family Part during the 2011-2012 court term. Since joining the firm, Alex has practiced exclusively in family and matrimonial matters, concentrating on issues including but not limited to divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, equitable distribution and business valuations.

Alex also has significant experience in appellate practice.  Most recently, she was counsel in the matter of In re Adoption of Child by J.E.V. and D.G.V., which resulted in published Appellate Division and Supreme Court decisions.

During Alex’s tenure at the firm, her work has included preparing for trials, filing appeals, preparing motions and assisting with the day to day needs of her clients.

Alex has been published in the Buffalo Journal of Gender, Law & Social Policy- “Sugar Dating: A New Take on an Old Issue.”
