Prior to joining the firm in September 2011, Ms. Starr Uretsky, Esq. served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable James A. Farber, Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey in the Sussex County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part during the 2010 – 2011 court term. Since joining the firm, Sandra has practiced exclusively in family and matrimonial matters. She represents clients in all phases of family law litigation including but not limited to pre-nuptial agreements, divorce and separation, negotiation of property settlement agreements, domestic violence actions, custody actions, post-judgment applications, and mediation.  Ms. Starr Uretsky served as the New Jersey Bar Association, Family Law Section, Co-Chair of Young Lawyers Sub-Committee from 2013-2015 and the New Jersey Bar Association, Family Law Section, Chair of Young Lawyers Technology Committee from 2016-2017.  She currently serves on the Editorial Board of the New Jersey Family Lawyer Magazine as Associate Editor.  

Ms. Starr Uretsky received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2010. While attending Seton Hall, Ms. Starr Uretsky was awarded Best Respondent’s Brief in the 2010 Eugene Gressman Moot Court Competition. She was also a legal intern for the Seton Hall University Law School Center for Social Justice-Family Law Clinic where she represented indigent clients in divorce and domestic violence cases. In addition, Ms. Starr Uretsky interned for the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender.
